Sports massage is generally focused on supporting recovery, mobility and physical performance, particularly for people who train or participate in sport.

If you’re unsure which treatment is most appropriate, you can contact us before booking and we can help you choose.
No. You do not need to participate in competitive sport.
Sports massage can be suitable for people who exercise regularly, have physically demanding lifestyles or simply want to support mobility and recovery.
Your appointment will begin with an assessment and discussion of your goals, relevant history and any areas you would like addressed.
This helps us understand what you need from the session rather than making assumptions about your treatment.
Your treatment or training session will then be tailored accordingly.
At the end of the appointment, you will be given appropriate guidance on what you can do between sessions.
Yes.
Before treatment or training, you may be asked to provide relevant information about your health, injuries, medication, activity levels and other factors that could affect the suitability of a session.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows appropriate access to the area being treated.
You will be given clear instructions about clothing and draping before treatment begins.
Your privacy, dignity and comfort will be respected throughout the session.
Please disclose any relevant injury, medical condition, medication or other health information when completing your consultation information.
Restore & Perform does not diagnose medical conditions.
Where information provided indicates that treatment or training may not be appropriate, or that further medical assessment may be required, we may recommend that you speak to an appropriate healthcare professional before proceeding.
